Thinking: a Dangerous Pastime, I know!

I was nominated by two women (both of whose work I sincerely admire) as a Thinking Blogger, and those two amazing writers are Sarah and Tess.  If you haven’t visited them yet, please do!  You simply will not be disappointed – they will make you think, and laugh, and cry, and catch your breath and, if you are like me, they’ll make you want to be a better writer.

Now I get to tag MY Thinking Bloggers…cruise through their blogs and see what ya think!

Ben over at Agitation of Hands, Strength of Words - Ben always has something to say, and he says it beautifully.  His words will break your heart, make you think and inspire you.

Gregg over at Ideas Man 2 – always asking provocative questions.  I always read but I’m not sure I’m smart enough to comment sometimes…but I definitely come away with ideas churning.

Brian at In Repair – Brian is a person of deep and complicated faith, and I enjoy reading about his journey.  He makes me examine my own faith more closely…plus he has AWESOME taste in music.

QAZSE at, well, QAZSE- his short poems pack a punch.  Trust me.  QAZSE tackles issues like faith, the war, consumer culture…you will not escape unscathed.  Go anyway.

Jeff over at The World Through My Eyes – First off, he has six kids and still finds time to write.  And when he writes, he speaks his passion.  And that can’t help but draw you in.

Thanks to all of you, both those mentioned here and those on my blogroll, for inspiring me, for helping me think about things in new and exciting ways, and for being a community of people who value the power and beauty of words.

  1. Thank you for your gracious comments! I think my head swelled just a little. ;)

Forgive my ignorance, but when you say you’ve “tagged” me, are you referring to the game where I post 5 things about myself and then tag 5 other bloggers?

  2. Yep, that’s it! You have to tag 5 other “thinking” bloggers!

  3. Cool.

    I’m digging your new theme!

    Thanks Heather, that’s really lovely.
I shall give it some thought and lay them out.
    Thanks again.
