The Pilot’s Wife, by Anita Shreve (tightly plotted, great character names, just fabulous. Chick lit that’s more than chick lit)

2. One book that you’ve read more than once:
Beach Music, by Pat Conroy (I just love him. His writing is lyrical, and his southern voice is unmistakable)

3. One book you’d want on a desert island:
Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher (I find something new every time I read it)

4. One book that made you laugh:
I take reading pretty seriously. Loooking at my bookshelves and all the books I have read, I don’t remember laughing.

5. One book that made you cry:
Little Children by Tom Perrotta

6. One book that you wish had been written:
What I REALLY Meant  by God

7. One book that you wish had never been written:
I’m ok with it having been written, but I really really don’t like Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier

The Amber Room by Steve Barry
