We will never fully disappear
from one another.
This impossible love
will never completely
dissipate,
will never be wholly, (holy) diminished,
will never
let go,
once
and
for all.
Your love is
a watermark
across my whole life;
a ghost image
in the picture I keep
of what love looks like;
an orb, a bright shining light
I will always be subtly drawn to,
a secret, small smile
my children ask me about.
Yessssss.

You like that?!
I think I am getting closer to saying what I want to say…

I love the whole watermark image, it has a transient yet permanent aspect that encapsulates the entire relationship.
How’s that.

I’m glad you like it!

I love that you’re still writing.
Hmmmm
How is that book coming along?

I wrote a very difficult scene the other night. It was tough but once it was done, I could move forward.
This poem may actually go in it – the theme of the book and the theme of this poem – well – they just WORK. The name of the book might even change to “Watermark”
This was powerful for me today…very exciting!

Very cool my dear. I’ve been writing a bit as well, but the only thing my Muse wants is spanking stories. Not bad I suppose, but I’m trying to be as literary as possible. I’ll send you some stuff if you want.

I have another site I have been using for prose and backstory… http://www.shannonwrites.wordpress.com
Take a look if you’re bored – there are a couple of scenes and essays and whatever over there.

That would free up some writing time!!
We have 3 major tasks left, all of which my husband has to at least be here to guide, and he has been in Buffalo for 2 -3 weeks at a time. He’s home Saturday and it is GAME ON to get this crap finished!
I am not good at living in limbo.
